Whether it’s your mobile phone, your computer, emails, text messages, facebook, twitter or any other methods of communication, nowadays there is a requirement to stay constantly connected.
Ever noticed if you don’t respond to a message fast enough, you get another message saying “Hey, did you get the message I sent 5 minutes ago?!”
Everyone has different rules to how quickly they want to respond to messages, whether these are emails, text messages or phone messages.
What’s your rule? Do you want to be constantly available? Is there a price to pay to not responding immediately? Are you afraid of “missing out” if you don’t “play along”?
There is no absolute right or wrong way to do this. Every person makes up their own rules, sets their own boundaries. Be aware of yours.
