Many people come to me because they feel they lack self confidence and self esteem and they are very concerned about the impact this has on their lives, especially the many missed opportunities, for fear of taking action or putting themselves forward.
Many people feel they have a lot of potential which is unused because of their sense of lack of self confidence; they doubt themselves, they live with a sense of uncertainty, they don’t value themselves and therefore, are not in touch with their true worth.
Our sense of self confidence is a key tool in determining how we live our lives, how much we achieve our goals and follow our dreams.
When we have greater self confidence, we feel better in ourselves, we feel more relaxed and at ease in all situations; it’s easier to approach people both in a social or business context; and we are able to communicate with clarity and effectiveness.
When we have greater self confidence we have a solid sense of self identity and self worth; we enjoy the feeling of being more assertive and courageous and we can accept ourselves and be able to express our opinions without worrying what other people think.
Overall, this strengthens our belief in our abilities to achieve our goals and gives us more faith in ourselves to shape our future. This also enables us to easily be more assertive and more courageous, with a much greater sense of happiness and a better experience of our lives.
Building self confidence, making a change in this area in your life, must come from an internal desire in you, a drive and determination for change. Have you ever thought about how your life would be different if you had 30% more self confidence than you currently do? And what if you had 70% or even 80% more self confidence?
Be very clear about the reasons, the drivers that make this change important to you, why you want to build self confidence and the impact this will have on your life. This will keep you focused on taking appropriate action for the change in your self confidence that you want to experience and achieve.
