Working with me as your life coach, you are getting an assortment of these 4 key drivers in your life:
- a mentor who believes in you and guides you in setting and achieving bigger goals for yourself;
- a manager to make sure you easily break down the goals into sizeable chunks;
- a personal trainer to keep you moving along your chosen path;
- a sports coach to provide you with feedback to consistently help you improve your game.
As I work with you on a one-to-one basis for a specified period of time, you will find that we target and focus on your specific needs or desired area for change, as well as develop new skills, patterns and habits. Self confidence tends to be a major area that underlies a lot of changes that my clients realise they want to achieve.
You will work with me for up to 12 sessions to achieve a specific goal, usually for one hour per week either face-to-face or on the phone.
During this period I will facilitate you in setting goals, as well as provide feedback, and new or differing perspectives, encouragement and different ways of tackling situations; as a matter of course, most people find that their self confidence naturally increases as they progress with their coaching sessions. I will “run alongside you” in life, giving you the extra input and insights that can really make a difference to your success.
My intention is to empower you and show you how to use a variety of skills to help you continue to help yourself; I will slice through any nonsense that is in your way, and get to the core of the matter.
You are probably getting coached all the time, since coaching is such a natural part of life; we often receive it informally from good friends, colleagues or even a boss. Parents use life coaching with their children; friends naturally apply life coaching skills when helping each other to have more confidence in themselves; couples coach each other through the various hurdles of life.
