What’s Next?
This is the second blog of two dedicated to my new friend, Peter.
How do you decide in life what to do next or where to go from here?
In my life this question seems to come up for me rather more than most, maybe because I tend to seek new projects and avenues on a regular basis.
Yet I have never gone in search of my next step, my next venture; what I have found over the years is that simply by being aware that I’m ready and open, that “new thing” – an idea or two, a new contact or friendship happens to come my way.
When we are clear about who we are and where we are in life, what we need at each moment in time comes into our life. Take a look back at your own life and notice where this may have also happened for you.
It’s not about “control”, it’s about “letting go”.
Having had this experience on-going now for over 25 years I am sure that this works!

Hello Natalie,
thank you so much, I feel really honoured and blessed by your dedication.
I have two points to add, one is an observation and one is a question: you said that if you know what you are standing for in life what we need at each moment in time will come to us. Is that right? It seems to me that is always the case as good or as bad as it seems at the time – the kindness of a stranger that teaches us love on the one hand or the job loss on the other that pushes us to make better vocational decisions. To me it seems always the case. Does that mean I know about my purpose and how can i find out about it consciously? Lots of questions actually but hey you inspire and i like that 🙂 Thank you, Peter
My experience is that even if you don’t know what you stand for in life, what we need still does come to us.
To know your purpose consciously is something that may only come to light when you are “ready” to know it; this is how it seems to me.
All the best,
Natalie
