Anger: Is it them or is it Me?
When you feel anger towards someone else, are you really angry with them, or are you angry with yourself?
Although most people will say they’re definitely angry with the other person, on deeper reflection, it can be shown that usually the trait or behaviour that has angered you is one that you possess or display yourself. It’s just easier to see it in someone else!
Next time the feeling of anger is triggered inside you, if you can, step back and ask yourself: when do I behave like this in one form or another, so much so that it really annoys me to see it in someone else?
When you recognise yourself in others you’ll find it easier to accept them as well as yourself.
All the best,
Natalie Dee
